Urban Decay MOONDUST AND SPACE COWBOY swatches and review

Ok I JUST got these in the mail and I was SO excited to open these up to swatch it that I got a paper cut lol.  These are AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL and SPARKLYYYYYY eyeshadows. Probably the most sparkly I've seen.  I only purchased 2 of the colors but after seeing them I may end up having to buy the rest of them.  I did notice that the tiny tiny glitters may fall off onto your face but if you use their primer and PAT on the eyeshadow rather than to smudge it on it should stay put :) Enjoy!

I have been looking for a good sparkly navy blue color eyeliner and I found the ONE! I of course love the urban decay 24/7 pencils so it was only natural to pick a blue from one of their new 40 colors!!!!! So far I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!! check it out :)

Amazonian Clay Double Detox Facial System Review and Swatches

So I received this as a sample from Sephora.com and it's really an amazing way for me to try a variety of new skin care products when they let me choose 3 samples or they offer a bonus size sample of something. 
This detox clay contains jojoba beads to exfoliate and resurface skin, sweet almond oil and avocado oil to replenish rehydrate and soften skin, bentonite clay that draws out excess oil and debris while boosting circulation, and Amazonian clay which purifies and balances and minimizes the appearance of pores.
Instructions: Prep skin by washing your face with your cleanser and while slightly damp put on the clay in a circular motion to exfoliate and then leave it on till it dries completely.
I left it on for about 20 min while I was posting other blog entries lol. I went to go wash it off and this stuff is hard to take off....the clay settled into all my pores and I felt like the clay was so fine that in can crawl into the crevices of my pores and work deep inside to clean it out.  I ended up using my clarisonic mia to get the rest of the residue off.  My skin felt refreshed and brighter but didn't feel dry at all and I can tell my pores did look a bit smaller from cleansing the debris out.  I heard great reviews on their Pure Maracuja oil and put that on right after but I'll save that for another blog entry.

Sephora Desert Sunset Eyeshadow and Blush Palette Review and Swatches

I'm always at Sephora picking up the latest items or going there just cause I'm bored to play with makeup and you know that line you have to go through and there's all these cute little travel size items that you end up picking up? Well this was one of them!  The colors in the palette seemed so every day wear friendly and at $16 who can resist????? I love all the colors and the swatches shown are only one swipe, if you swipe it twice the color is actually must more vibrant and intense.  Pair it with your favorite eyeshadow primer and you've got so many versatile looks you can achieve.  I also love that its very thin and compact so it's easy to carry around and has a mirror inside.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stain Review and swatches

I saw an add for buy one get one 50% off revlon cosmetics at Rite aid so I had my bf rush me to the nearest Rite Aid I could find to get some things I wanted to try.  One of the things I picked up was the Relvon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stain and I LOVE the saturation of the colors that I purchased.  They go on really smooth and you can layer the color application for more vibrancy.  I put on the lip stain at 9am and went to lunch at 12:30pm and after I ate I looked in the mirror and my lips looked like they were *just bitten* and had a nice stain on it even after I had eaten the stain off my lips with a burrito bowl lol.  The colors lasts till the end of the day even after the initial stain is long gone from my lips.  It feels pretty hydrating and non drying on my lips so I love that I can put on carmex after if I do feel a little dry but will still have a stain of color on my lips. 

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

I'm always on the lookout for a new concealer for my under eyes and I've always used the MAC select moisture cover concealer and found that it works well BUT I wasn't completely convinced with it.  Now that I've found the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer I am happy to say that this will be my new go to concealer.
The consistency of the concealer is very thick but it is very blendable, the coverage is from medium to high.  It comes in 10 shades that can match any skin tone and can be used as a highlighter or as a contour cream.  It has light diffusing technology so it's great for the under eye but can be used to cover up other blemishes.  I put on the concealer under my eyes around 11am and it lasted all day and all night and I even had a hard time washing it off so I know this is a concealer that will last and last.  There was very minimal creasing but if used with a primer I think that would fix the problem.  The colors do oxidize a little bit so be aware of that.  I have swatched 4 of the colors that I purchased.

As many of you know this is the coveted UD 24/7 glid on eye pencil vault. It includes all 40 of their colors for $295 valued at $750. This limited edition vault was available on the UD website but limited to only 50 that was on sale and sold out within a few hours.  Sephora.com is now offering them on their website but who knows how long it will last??? I've already bought mine and can't wait for it to ship!!!!

Nars Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil Swatches and Review

I have been obsessed with jumbo lip pencils lately, they are just so convenient to carry!!!! My purse is already heavy enough with all the junk I put in there and throw in a couple heavy lipsticks and lip glosses and its like holding bricks on my shoulders! Jumbo Lip pencils have solved this problem for me so I've kind of been obsessed.

With that being said this is my first jumbo lip pencil that I am reviewing and let me tell you, the texture on the nars velvet gloss is as exactly as described.  It keeps my lips hydrated and and when I press my lips it feels like there is cushions in between my lips and it has pretty good staying power. It contains vitamin E, hyaluronic spheres that help to hydrate lips and phytosterol esther; ingredients that are known to moisturize and increase hydration.

My favorite color is Mexican Rose~! Here are some of the colors swatches.ightweight formula and enriched with Vitamin E plus a blend of moisture-rich hyaluronic spheres that make lips appear fuller.

Missha All around Safe Block Essence Sun SPF45/PA+++ Review

I have an obsession with finding the holy grail of spf's with PA+++ broad spectrum sunblocks for my skin as I am terrified of sunspots and wrinkles.  I still haven't found anything that I like better than my sunkiller clear water sunblock but this comes to a close second.  The texture is an opaque white but doesn't leave a white residue that makes you look like a ghost.  It feels very light but moisturizing on my skin and doesn't leave me super oily at the end of the day.  I think this would fit those of you who are combination to oily skin.  It doesn't have a slick oily feeling either but it dries to a matte finish which I LOVE.  The best part about the product is the scent...I LOVEEEEEE the smell of this sunblock I can't really describe to you exactly but it has a fresh not to strongly floral but very femme scent to it that is not overpowering. Overall I give this one 4.5 stars

Missha Aqua Gel Tint Review

I did a Missha haul and this was one of the items that I tried out.  I LOVE tints so I'm always on the lookout for the next new tint. Available in 3 colors I loved the colors on this tint and loved the packaging and it felt like the gel version lasts longer.  The price is reasonable at $10.00 a tube but this tint has a bit of a downside though....I licked my lips cause it was dry and to my surprise the tint tasted bitter!!!!! The smell is nice and light and the colors and application is fabulous but honestly I think the taste of it when I accidentally lick my lips turns me off to the product.

My Daytime Skincare Routine~

I had a request from a friend asking to show what my makeup routine is...so here we go.  This is just my simple everyday daytime look.  Focusing more on step by step on skip prep and the order of steps I take in my regime. Enjoy~!

1.  My motto is "Your makeup only looks as good as the skin underneath".  If your skin is flaky or dry, let's face it....your foundation is going to come out looking flaky and patchy as well.  Make sure to always hydrate and exfoliate your skin to prevent surface dryness and that flaky foundation look.  I recommend using a deep exfoliator such as Philosophy Microdelivery Peel once a week for a smooth and even complexion.

2.  Perfect Whip Cleanser: This cleanser takes off almost all makeup residue and leaves my skin squeaky clean without leaving it too dry and a little goes a longggg way with plush tiny bubbles.

3.  Obagi C-Balancing Toner:  This toner stabilizes My skins pH levels to reduce excess oil production for a clear, matte complexion. Vitamin C promotes collagen synthesis as it diminishes hyperpigmentation and neutralizes free radicals. Antiseptic witch hazel purifies and minimizes pores while PCA provides lightweight hydration. Aloe vera soothes inflammation and evens skin tone.

3.  Sunkiller Clear Water SPF 50 PA+++ Sunscreen: This is probably the most important part of my regimen as it has a high spf with broad spectrum that protects your skin against harmful UVA and UVB rays.  I love love love this sunscreen and no matter how many different ones that I try this one is the one that I always go back to.  I will write a review on this sunscreen soon.

3.  Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream: As noted in my earlier blog this is hands down my favorite BB cream of all time. It has a great glowing finish with medium to full coverage and it lasts all day.
